3. From "ordinary to awesome" is how these clients describe our renovation of their pool. When entering the home the view looks right thru to the pool which was (left) very basic. The goal was to create something that would impress as guests enter and look out to the back yard area. The clients talked to several companies before choosing Westside Watershapes. They wanted both a play area as well as a diving area. All the other companies suggested total demolition of old pool and construction of a new one. We recommended a major renovation to the existing game pool while adding a diving pool with a custom slide and large waterfall. We also raised the diving pool above the existing pool and created a wonderful spill over towards the house (think reverse vanishing edge). With the use of native stone materials and a natural pebble finished interior the end result is truly a backyard oasis that is the talk of the nieghborhood. This pool now has interactive waterfeatures, custom slide, concealed diving board, color changing lights and an in-floor cleaning system. |

4. Before and after – This was a major renovation of a standard kidney-shaped pool and deck. We made the pool look more natural with two water features that provide both visual appeal as well as a relaxing sound. The goal was a pool that was nice to look at, yet still fun for the kids. A key was to maintain all the existing trees which provide a great canopy for the yard. It now looks as nice or nicer than many new pools, and includes an automated control system and a new heater which has helped to extend the swimming season. We also added an outdoor built-in grill area. The clients reports enjoying their backyard more than ever before. The slide and diving rock help to entertain the kids and the swim out beneath the primary waterfall is a favorite spot to interact with the falling water. |
